Last updated 15 August 2026

the short version

  • Write to us within fourteen days of a charge and we refund it in full. You do not have to say why.
  • The Free plan and the two-month new-account promotion let you check Offloop before paying anything.
  • A duplicate charge, or one taken after you cancelled, is always refunded, window or no window.

This policy explains how refunds work for Offloop, which is operated by Founderly, Inc., a corporation organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. It applies to paid Offloop plans bought through this website. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and expands on section 5 of them; where the two describe the same thing, they say the same thing.

1. Try the Free plan first

Offloop has a Free plan that includes 2,000 words a week, with no credit card required. It is the same app: the dictation, the on-device processing and the formatting are all there. While the signup promotion is enabled, each new account also receives two calendar months of Pro without a payment card. We would rather you used it for a week and found out whether Offloop suits the way you work than paid first and asked for the money back after.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Offloop Pro costs $9 per month, billed in advance and renewing automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep Pro until then, and you are not charged again. Cancelling stops future charges; on its own it is not a refund of a charge already taken. If you want the last charge back as well, ask us, and section 3 applies.

3. The fourteen-day refund

If Offloop is not what you hoped, write to us within fourteen days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you for one or try to talk you out of it.

Refunds go back to the original payment method.

4. What we always refund

Some charges should never have happened, and those are not subject to any window. Tell us whenever you notice:

  • a duplicate charge, or one you were billed twice for;
  • a charge taken after you had already cancelled;
  • a charge for a period in which a genuine technical fault stopped you using the app and we were not able to fix it in reasonable time.

Beyond those, and beyond the fourteen days in section 3, refunds are at our discretion, but if something has gone genuinely wrong, ask. We would rather hear about it.

5. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the country you live in, including any statutory right to cancel or to a refund. Where that law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, that law applies and this policy does not cut it down.

6. How payments are processed

Payments for Offloop Pro are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We keep the customer and subscription references, the plan and its status, and, if you cancel, the reason you give and any comment you add. That is what we need to run your plan and to process a refund if you ask for one; the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what it is.

Because the refund is issued through Stripe and then travels back through your bank or card provider, the money typically appears within five to ten business days once approved. That last leg is not something we control.

7. How to request a refund

Email hello@founderly.xyz from the address you used for the purchase, or tell us what that address was. A receipt or order number helps but is not required. We can find the charge without it.

We review requests within five business days and will tell you either way.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy go to hello@founderly.xyz. Formal notices go to legal@founderly.xyz.
